The Sphere will kick off 2025 with a new beat.
The EDM-focused Afterlife presents Anyma "The End of Genesys" will be the first electronic music act at the technologically unique venue in Las Vegas, as well as its first New Year's Eve performance. It is also Anyma's inaugural play in Vegas.
Anyma – aka Matteo Milleri – is known in the techno genre for his dynamic audiovisual production, which seems an ideal match for the venue that has hosted awe-inspiring residencies from U2, Phish, Dead & Company and, starting in September, the Eagles.

Who is Anyma?
In 2023, Anyma released his debut album, "Genesys," followed by its two-part sequel of remixes, "Genesys II" this year, featuring collaborations with Sevdaliza, Camelphat and girlfriend Grimes, among others.
He will present the audio/visual "Genesys" show and has teased special guests who will highlight the concluding performance of the "Genesys" project. Over the past two years, Anyma has unfurled his "Genesys" show – a creative combination of music, art, DJing – worldwide, including performances for 65,000 at Mexico City's Autodromo Hermanos and 40,000 at Paris' La Defense Arena.
Anyma is also part of the electronic duo Tale of Us, the co-founder of Afterlife Records and the remixer of Fred Again …'s "Turn on the Lights Again (featuring Future)" and Lana Del Rey’s "Say Yes to Heaven."

What is the Sphere?
The Sphere, which opened in September 2023, is equipped with the world’s highest-resolution LED display - in the form of a 160,000-square-foot wraparound screen - and Sphere Immersive Sound.
The venue holds about 20,000 for live performances. Given its massive footprint - the size of two city blocks and taller than a football field is long, the Sphere is immediately noticable on the Vegas skyline as the rotund counter to its towering neighbors The Venetian and Wynn Las Vegas.
