New York Giants running back Saquon Barkley has partnered with Intuit QuickBooks Global Brand to launch a multi-channel campaign to reach the increasing number of small business owners working solo.
The company announced the launch of a new global QuickBooks brand platform called "Business Differently" on Thursday.
"Every small business is unique, and this campaign underscores what we see from our customers everyday — that their individualized approach can create outsized success," said Javier Martin, Director, Global Brand Development for QuickBooks. "This campaign shows that QuickBooks offers small businesses of all sizes much more than accounting. We help our customers do business on their terms with our range of dynamic money management tools."
The "Business Differently" campaign, created with QuickBooks' creative agency F.C.B., includes a TV ad featuring a solopreneur sports photographer. The ad encourages viewers to focus on small business owners and highlights how QuickBooks Money can empower solopreneurs on their business journey.
"Last year Intuit QuickBooks decorated my daughter's room, and ever since then, I have been working with them for bigger issues," Barkley told USA. TODAY. "I wanted to start this campaign because it will spotlight the people that matter, such as the photographer who takes pictures of me on the field. I think about everyone and want the world to do the same."
The campaign includes two TV ads, social media, influencer and custom content efforts that showcase the "Business Differently" concept.
Saquon Barkley's success with the Giants
Barkley has been nominated for the Walter Payton Man of the Year Award this season for the second consecutive year. Each NFL team nominated one person from their team for the award, which recognizes an NFL player for his exceptional performance both on and off the field.
Barkley has become the fifth Giants player to rush for 5,000 yards, with a total of 5,032 yards.
Currently, Barkley has 2,003 receiving yards, which makes him the fourth Giant to have 5,000 rushing yards and 2,000 receiving yards, joining Tiki Barber, Alex Webster, and Frank Gifford.
Barkley is the ninth player in the history of the Giants to have a total of 7,000 yards, with 7,025 yards. Ahmad Bradshaw is just ahead of him with 7,168 yards.
